5. Witness the Pristine Lake of Gurudongmar
The most secluded part of Sikkim, Gurudongmar Lake is famous for its blue pristine water. The Gurudongmar lake is thought to be sacred by many belonging to Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus. The lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and India.
Gurudongmar Lake is perched at an elevation of 5,425 meters. The harsh weather conditions make it impossible for tourists to stay at the lake after 9 AM.
